The CHC43015 Certificate IV in Ageing Support is a 12 months course, delivered through online study, which provides students with the skills and knowledge required in the community services industry to complete specialised tasks and functions in aged services where they take responsibility for their individual outputs within defined organisation guidelines and maintain quality service delivery through the development, facilitation and review of individualised service planning and delivery. This course contains 18 units (15 core and 3 electives) and covers the following themes;

Early Childhood Teacher Bridging Program – CHC50113 Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (The Bridging Program)

The Bridging Program is a 12 monthfast-track’ pathway to a Diploma qualification, enabling registered primary teachers to work as early childhood teachers. This program maps the CHC50113 Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care to the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers to produce industry endorsed matrices of credit transfer and gap training requirements for each unit of competency. Eligible primary teachers may also gain recognition of prior learning where relevant.

Students of this program is required to complete 23 of the 28 units of competency, whereby the remaining units can either be a credit transfer (CT) or recognition of prior learning (RPL). This program is delivered through a blended learning experience of either face-to-face and/or online study, and covers the following themes;

The FNSSS00004 BAS Agent Registration Skill Set is a 3 months course, delivered through online study and contains 2 units from the Financial Service Training package and is recognised by Tax Practitioners Board (TPB) and Institute of Certified Bookkeepers (ICB). This course provides students with the skills and knowledge required for BAS and payroll work.

HLTAID004 Provide an Emergency First Aid Response in an Education and Care Setting (First Aid)

The HLTAID004 Provide an Emergency First Aid Response in an Education and Care Setting unit meets the requirements of First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis and has been approved by the Australian Children’s Education & Care Quality Authority (ACECQA).  This 1-day workshop provides students with the skills and knowledge to provide Fist Aid response to both children and adults such as;

  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
  • DRSABCD
  • Stroke/Heart Attack
  • Asthma
  • Allergic and Anaphylactic Reaction
  • Unconsciousness
  • Management of Casualties until Medical Assistance Arrives

This workshop brings benefits to everyone, however, more importantly, for those working in pre-school, family/long day care and outside of school hours care services.

Upon completion, you will receive a Statement of Attainment for HLTAID004 (valid for 3 years) which includes;

  • HLTAID001 Provide Cardiopulmonary resuscitation
  • HLTAID002 Provide Basic Emergency Life Support
