Australia is in the “Golden Age” as the ageing population grows and drives the aged care industry growth and accelerates the demand for aged care workers. Educare College is ever ready to assist you in gaining the skills and knowledge required in caring for the elderly within the community setting and/or residential setting.
The CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support course provides students with a range of skill and knowledge to provide person-centred support to those in need due to ageing. This course contains 13 units (7 core and 6 electives) and covers the following themes;

The course duration typically takes 6 months (depending on the student’s previous learning, experience, and employment status) with a total of 770 nominal hours** (inclusive of 120 work placement hours).
**This is an indicative number of hours. The actual number of nominal hours will depend on the student’s choice of specialised stream.

Delivery Method –
The CHC30113 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care course is delivered through a blended learning experience of either face-to-face and/or online study. Students will be assigned a Trainer/Assessor who will conduct regular face-to-face classes. These classes are then combined with both online components and practical assessments that are undertaken in an actual work environment. This blended method delivery allows our Trainer/Assessor to not only support the student through their learning but assess them to determine their level of competency in each unit.
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) / Credit Transfer (CT) –
Have a lifetime of experience but no formal qualification? Concerned about spending valuable time on a course to gain skills and knowledge you already possess?
Our friendly staff will guide you through the RPL/CT process and collect the evidence needed to support your application. We issue applicants RPL/CT documentation requesting specific information relating to acquired skills and knowledge achieved within the past five years, either through Educare College or another training organisation. An interview process and practical skills assessment will then be conducted if required.
To apply for RPL or CT, contact Student Services for more information on 07 3114 3458 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
